GDPR Training Event

As you are all aware, the current Data Protection Act (DPA) will be replaced by the new and updated General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on 25th May 2018 (as incorporated within the current Data Protection Bill) – meaning the way you manage all information and data within your school will change. The GDPR is a new data protection regulation designed to strengthen and unify the safety and security of all data held within an organisation (including schools, academies and other educational establishments).

External Perspective Ltd will be repeating the warmly received GDPR Training Sessions they did for BASBM members at Edgbaston Stadium on 7th and 14th February. The comments on these 5 sessions included:-

“Thank you for arranging this training. I have to say that I found it very informative, the best GDPR presentation I have seen, a lot crammed in but not too fast a pace that you can’t take it all in”.

“Fantastic practical advice, putting legal knowledge from other sessions ‘real’, offering support & a good journey / path to follow”.

“Excellent resources and presentation, lots of useful knowledge and expertise”.
