Part 7 – Encrypted documents and email
Office 365 can be configured to allow a user to send an encrypted email that can only be read by the sender and the recipient. Office 365 uses industry-standard encryption technologies that provide a very high level of security for your messages. In essence, only the intended recipient of your message will be able to read it.
Very often data and confidential information are shared over emails and documents sent by emails. With encryption enabled, you are safe in the knowledge that those documents only available to those who you choose to give access. For instance, learning mentors and admin staff are requested to send highly confidential information via email.
